The Last of Us Part II — Fan Art Project [Part 4: Scissor Pipe-Blade / 4K Cinematic Shot]

Our cinematic universe continues to expand with an ultimate close-up. This is officially the 4K Cinematic Wallpaper Showcase for Part 4 of our ongoing fan-art series based on Naughty Dog's universe.

Following the toolbenches and Ellie's iconic switchblade, we wanted to highlight the raw, brutal macro-details of weapon crafting in this widescreen 3840x2160 format. Recreating the improvised forged pipe-blade with rusted tailor scissors bound tightly by heavy wire was a massive challenge for hard-surface texturing and cinematic grading.

We are massive fans of this masterpiece, and this project is our ultimate tribute to the developers who inspire us daily. Every weathered gunmetal steel chip, pore of rust, and dried blood clot on the handle was carefully aligned to meet peak AAA studio standards using professional anchor points and custom SSS skin depth logic for the overall series.
